Associate

In November of 1980, CCMS received authority from the Ohio Board of Regents to grant the Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science (A.A.S.) Degree. The A.A.S. is designed to provide an integrated collegiate background for applicants without college prior to mortuary college. In 1987, CCMS revised the A.A.S. from a semester to a quarter system format. Classes typically meet 8 AM to 4 PM. If the student has already attended college and wishes to transfer credit toward the A.A.S. Degree, he or she should refer to the Academic Options section of the CCMS catalog.
