Mortuary Science Prerequisites

CCMS does not offer pre-mortuary science or general education classes. Therefore, applicants must complete general education credits at a regionally accredited college prior to admission as part of our mortuary science requirements. The number of credits needed for admission to CCMS depends on which of our two degrees you intend to pursue. Our prerequisites for mortuary science outlines below, provide links to the detailed pages on meeting the mortuary science prerequisites, learn more about the programs, and learn about transferring credits. You can also learn more about our tuition costs here.
