DEGREE PROGRAMS
CCMS offers two degree programs – the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and the Bachelor of Mortuary Science (B.M.S.). The degree best suited for you depends on the state in which you plan on working and your educational background.
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)
The Associate of Applied Science program consists of 3 semesters and takes approximately 12 months to complete. It is a full-time, on-campus program. (CCMS does not offer part-time or online classes at this time.) Students in this program also graduate certified in Crematory Operations.

Bachelor of Mortuary Science (B.M.S.)
The Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree program consists of 4 semesters and takes approximately 15-16 months to complete. It is a full-time, on-campus program. (CCMS does not offer part-time or online classes at this time.) Students in this program also graduate certified in the following: Crematory Operations, Funeral Celebrant, and Mass Fatality Response.
