For apprentice, must have completed mortuary school.

Must be a team player, must also be compassionate, caring, detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
Job responsibilities:
Apprentice: making transfers, assisting in care center, parking on funerals and assisting on funerals, delivering flowers, assisting at cemeteries, and meeting requirements for MD Apprenticeship License (1,000 hours/1 year, 20 embalmings, 20 funerals, and sitting in on arrangements).
Licensed Director/Mortician: make funeral arrangements, make transfers, direct funerals, work visitations, take phones at night (normally only 4-5 times a month), embalm, get decedents ready for visitiation/funerals, and all other aspects of funeral service.
