Lead Funeral Director Embalming
3-5years experience must be a license for the state of Ohio
and drivers licenses
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build community relationships to be able to deal with sensitively with distressing situations
Attention to detail as well as administration and organizational abilities in embalming experience
Excellent work history and good drivers record
Previous customers service skills and sales this would be a definite asset
Knowledge of computers and some software would be an asset, or a willingness to learn.
High level of compassion and integrity
Good communication and solving skills
Professional and team player
Required skills (if any):
Removals, which include working with family members and medical Examiner. follow company standards by initiating Chan of Custody, personal effects documentation, etc.
Perform embalming and cosmetology
Counsel with and advise client families to arrange a funeral, and supervise funeral service activities
Coordinate all services arrangements and details with clergy and other individuals or groups who may participate in the funeral service.
Assist with pre-arranging client with requested services arrangements, selection of funeral merchandise and other products, and financial arrangements.
Must be able to participate in community activities and events, such as civic or fraternal organizations as a part of local promotional and outreach efforts,
Job responsibilities:
This position will prepare remains for service and or interment. Position includes on-call rotation hours that include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
The Lead Funeral Director will manage, prepare and direct funeral service, and coordinate the delivery of remains to the funeral home and transport remains to the families chose of church and gravesite
