Job prerequisites:
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and periodic testing
- PA Funeral Director's license or for Intern, having passed the National Board Exam
- A professional appearance based on traditional expectations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid PA driver's license with a safe and responsible driving record
- Thorough understanding of Funeral Law
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and familiar with EDRS and database software
- Ability to do heavy lifting
- Ability to pass criminal background check
Job responsibilities:
Primary duties include, but are not limited to: at-need and pre-need arrangement conferences, conducting funerals, embalming, dressing, cosmetic work, tending visitations, performing removals, and completing all necessary paperwork. Complete customer satisfaction is paramount.
