* 3+ years of funeral directing experience
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Ability to adhere to the professional dress code of the funeral home
* Availability for on-call work as needed
Job responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a compassionate Funeral Director/Embalmer to join the esteemed team at our partner location. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of funeral services to ensure the utmost satisfaction of every family we serve. This position does not require after-hours removals, and housing is available for eligible candidates.

* Manage arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as necessary
* Coordinate arrangements with families and other stakeholders to provide compassionate funeral,
cremation, and cemetery services
* Assist families in selecting products and services, and finalizing financial arrangements
* Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
* Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures and complete all required paperwork
accurately and promptly
* Maintain licensure and certifications to meet regulatory requirements
* Assist in preparing and transferring cremated remains according to industry standards
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management
