Many students live and work in local area funeral homes during their time at CCMS. It's a great way to get hands-on experience, make connections, and earn money.

The document below lists funeral homes that generally offer opportunities to CCMS students - we cannot guarantee there will be an opening at any given time. Contact funeral homes individually to inquire about employment. Only accepted CCMS students should contact funeral homes on this list

Resume & Interview Help

Sample CCMS Resume sheet shows the common structure of a print resume with education and licenses based on graduating from the CCMS bachelor's program with part-time experience at local funeral homes.

Common Interview Questions sheet lists questions that funeral directors may ask during an interview (questions were from faculty and staff who have worked at funeral homes and interviewed new hires). The first page is a list of general questions that you might get asked for any job anywhere while the second page is based on very specific funeral home interviews.
