About the AAS program

The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS) Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program is a institutionally and professionally accredited, three-semester program consisting of forty-seven credit hours. Students complete the AAS program in twelve months, attending seated, campus-based courses and clinical labs year-round.

CCMS and the Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) and the Bachelors of Mortuary Science Degrees (B.M.S.) are accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE), 992 Mantua Pike, Suite 108, Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097, (816) 233-3747. Web: www.abfse.org   as well as the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  CCMS degrees are transferable to many other universities or colleges in the nation.  The BMS curriculum meets or exceeds the education standard for licensure in most states.
