Job responsibilities:
Family Owned Funeral Home with two locations in Emmaus and Allentown, Pennsylvania, serving 500 families annually.
Licensed Funeral Director Applicant must be able to perform all aspects of Funeral Directing including but not limited to directing funerals and viewings, embalming, dressing and casketing of remains, arrangement conferences with family, typing and preparing obituaries, and making transfers from place of death. Valid PA Driver's License Required.
Work schedule consists of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekly, with one weekend out of four required to work and rotation of a total of nine evenings on-call including the weekend of scheduled work in the four week cycle.
Funeral Intern Applicant will be placed into a learning environment to develop all the skills listed above, required by a Licensed Funeral Director.
The work week and on-call requirements will be similar to the times listed above.
