$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

What We're Looking for: **Current New York State Funeral Director License, or eligibility for New York State reciprocity **At least 1 year of funeral service experience preferred **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **A compassionate, professional, and respectful approach when working with families **Dependable, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team **Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. **Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and Google applications **Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more **Must have ability to retain flexible schedule due to the nature of the work
Job responsibilities:
You will work with families and our experienced funeral service team throughout the arrangement and service process. Responsibilities include meeting with families, directing and assisting with funeral services, embalming and preparation of human remains, removals, assisting families during visitations and services, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule for death calls and our answering service.
