As a CCMS alumnus, you know how seriously we take our mission of educating the next generation of funeral service professionals.

We're proud of our reputation as the "Harvard of Mortuary Science," which we have worked very hard to preserve for over 135 years. But we're not resting on our laurels. 

That's where you come in! By joining the 1882 Alumni Society, which honors the rich history of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science while also paving a way for the future, you won't just be showing your CCMS pride. You'll also be helping us build this college to be even greater!

Support CCMS

Join other CCMS alumni in representing the college at career fairs, helping with fundraising, volunteer during special events, and more.

CCMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on the generous support of our alumni, our donors, and the general public. With scholarships for students, funds for extra-curricular events, or even the need for goods and services, please consider donating your preferred method to your preferred support via our Donation Form.

Since 1882 our alumni base exceeds 7000 distinguished alumni. CCMS alumni have gone on to do exceptional things and served countless communities and families across the nation. As a distinguished alumnus/alumna of CCMS, there are many ways for you to support your alma mater to leave your mark on the future of funeral service education.

We invite you to continue support of tomorrow’s funeral service professionals through mentorship, contribution of goods/services to academic or clinical programs, and much more. The tradition of alumni giving back to CCMS has helped build a tradition of excellence and further strengthened both the school and the students who will one day become your colleagues.

Ambassadors Club

Because our alums have connections in their communities, CCMS is forming an “Ambassadors Club” - those alums willing to share their time and talents in a variety of ways. These alums make a lasting impact by supporting admission and recruitment, helping prepare current students for life after graduation and keeping classmates connected.

In effect, these alums serve as the ‘face’ of the college in their community,” as they are best suited to share insight into the college and the death care profession. From representing the college at fairs and career days, to taking a leadership role by keeping classmates connected or bringing a prospective student to visit campus, one can be very or minimally involved as an Ambassador. Even as simple as wearing CCMS apparel or displaying memorabilia can help build interest in the college.

Cincinnati Foundation for Mortuary Education

The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit governing body of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science created to provide the broad support necessary for the college to flourish. Our Foundation members help to support non-profit education and our mission to transform death care education. Click here to join.
