Dr. Blanche Kabengele
Admissions Director / Registrar

As Admissions Director Dr. Kabengele advises students on academic planning via scheduled appointments and over the telephone. In the capacity of Registrar Dr. Kabengele oversees the integrity of student academic records. Dr. Kabengele is committed to providing quality service to the college and its current and future student body.
In 2001 Dr. Kabengele earned the Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management, University of Cincinnati, and in 2003 the Master of Arts in Labor and Employment Relations University of Cincinnati. In June 2011 she was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy from the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services University of Cincinnati.
Formerly, Dr. Kabengele served as an Adjunct Professor at UC, NKU, Christ Hospital School of Nursing, and CCMS’s Pre-Mortuary Program; and was employed at the University of Cincinnati’s UCIT Department as a Voice/Data Project Co-coordinator.

Leslie Boehm brings 25 years of business management and accounting expertise to CCMS as the Bursar and Business Manager. She is responsible for managing daily business and financial operations of the college. As the liaison for Federal Student Aid, Leslie manages the college’s student financial records, including loan, scholarship, and grant award distribution.

Title IX Coordinator
“As the Director of Library and IT, I love providing students with resources and services that enhance the curriculum and help them learn. From our extensive collection of mortuary science books and journals to our computer-based NBE practice exam, I and the rest of the CCMS staff and faculty are committed to helping our students succeed.”
Molly is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the CCMS library, including reference, acquisitions, cataloging, and the library budget. She provides IT services including management of the website and computer lab. In addition, Molly serves as the Title IX Coordinator, ensuring that CCMS is compliant in Title IX and providing training to students and employees. Molly earned a Master of Library Science degree in 2011 from Indiana University’s Library & Information Science program.

Believing strongly in the college’s mission, I am dedicated to the success of each student as well as the continued growth of service professionals. A stable foundation of trust, support, and confidence is imperative with each student, alumnae, and service professional. Without these relationships, we could not maintain our objective to continue as the nation’s first in funeral service education.”
Beth Williams is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and CCMS, having earned her B.M.S in 1998. She is an Ohio Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer and Certified Master Funeral Director/Embalmer. Beth also holds her Pre-planning and Crematory Operator Certifications. She serves as the Special Assistant to President Lechner, as well as liaison to the college’s Board of Trustees. Her primary focus is working directly with the President to ensure the continuity of his objective, including continued learning for professionals, alumni and professional outreach, and student relations. Her responsibilities also include adjunct faculty support of the Clinical Director in both the clinical and restorative art labs. Beth joined CCMS in 2013, serving as the Administrative Coordinator and director of Alumni Relations.
Articulation / Transfer Specialist
“Each day I am most struck by the commitment and dedication to the funeral service profession each student possesses.”
To provide an advising tool for students interested in the funeral service profession, Pam develops articulation agreements with two-year colleges to guide their students ultimately seeking a CCMS degree. While attending transfer fairs at the two-year colleges, she advises prospective students as to the transfer requirements for CCMS.
Prior to arriving at CCMS in January 2014, Pam worked for the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College as the assistant dean for student affairs. She earned her Ed.S. and M.S. at the State University of New York – Albany.

Karen supports the day-to-day administrative needs of the College including events, the bookstore, and faculty/staff.
Karen has a diversified background including Administrative Assistant/Management Leader for 15 years at Procter & Gamble, Office Manager for a private school, sales, and customer service. She also owned her own Consulting and temporary personnel business. Karen was a proud and successful JV Soccer coach at McAuley High School, as well as PTO President.
