Obituary for Charles Douglas “Doug” Bibler

Charles Douglas “Doug” Bibler, 77, passed away peacefully at his home on March 27, 2026.

Born on August 6, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Charles and Dorothy (Davis) Bibler. Doug graduated from Whetstone High School in 1966 and continued his education at Rio Grande College, where he earned a degree in education before attending The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

On August 8, 1970, he married Cynthia Amidon. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and devotion; and shared more than five decades together filled with fun times lots of laughter, commitment, and cherished memories with their children and grandchildren.

Doug will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Cynthia; his children, Stacy (Ed) Harryman and Eric (Lindsay) Bibler; his cherished grandchildren, Macie Workman, Raegan Bibler, Grayson Bibler, and Jenna (William Brown) Beaver; and his great-grandchildren, Jackson, Olympia, and Sophia. He found great joy in his family and treasured every moment spent with them.

In keeping with his wishes, Doug will be laid to rest in Edgewood Cemetery, with private family services to be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Orion Masonic Lodge, P.O. Box 353, Kingsville, Ohio 44048 or to the Ashtabula Co. Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Kingsville, Ohio 44048 in his name.

Jean L. Croxton (nee Lamb), beloved wife of the late John W. Croxton (owner/funeral director/embalmer with T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home). Passed away March 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Resident of Anderson Twp., formerly of Mt. Washington.

Jean was the devoted mother of John W. (Sandy) Croxton II, Julia A. (Gary) Anderson, & Jennifer C. Palmer. Loving grandmother of Vale (Maura), Heather (the late Bobby), Brienne (Luke), Charles, Brooke (Chris), Carmen (Luke), Jasmine (Ryan), Ashleigh (Jim), Chris, & Brenna. Caring great grandmother of Will, Joey, James, Olivia, Simon, Everly, Heidi, Amira, Hannah, Jace, Rory, Myles, Saige, Tobie, Alexis, Emma, Brylee, & Dylan. Great great grandmother of Ezra, Sawyer, & Lottie. Fond aunt of Peggy, Ed, Jim, Dave, and Keely. Jean was the daughter of the late Clarence & Mildred Lamb (nee Carnes). Sister of the late Mary Evelyn (the late Howard) Wildey. Sister-in-law of Tom (Judy) Croxton. Also survived by many cousins.

Friends may visit T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 2pm-5pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 at 11am at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45230.

Obituary for Anthony J. “Tony” Tiberi

Funeral Director and Father of John and Joe Tiberi, all of Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home

Anthony J. “Tony” Tiberi, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 11, 2026 at Mother Angeline McClory Manor. Born in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy. After moving to the United States as a young boy, he grew up in San Margherita.

Anthony was a 1956 graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He proudly served in the US Army. After graduating from Ohio Dominican College, he then went to the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1968. 

He enjoyed a 60+ year career in funeral service joining his father-in-law, John Quint Jr, and helping to grow the family business, Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home, serving the families of Central Ohio with dedication and compassion.

Survived by sons, John (Julia) Tiberi, Joe (Jennifer) Tiberi; grandchildren, Anna, Josie, Lucas and Nicholas; sister Margherita Filichia; many cousins in the Boston, MA area and many good friends in Columbus. Friends received Sunday 2-5pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 168 E Lincoln St, Columbus, OH 43215. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.
