For a licensed funeral director/embalmer you must have completed mortuary school, passed required board exams, apprenticeship and pass licensing exams. If an apprentice, you must complete mortuary school, fulfill your apprenticeship requirements and pass all board exams and licensing exams.

Job responsibilities:
The licensee will be working in all the areas associated with a family owned funeral home. These areas include but are not limited to: removals, embalming, body prep, working funerals, visitations and meeting with families to arrange funerals.
