Required experience (if any):
We require a funeral director’s license and a valid driver’s license in good standing. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, conduct themselves in a professional manner, be a team player, compassionate, patient and eager to learn from experienced owners.
Required skills (if any):
Licensed Funeral Director - must have or be able to obtain WI licensure. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with computers and technology. Willingness to learn business processes and standards. Willingness to engage with the community.
Job responsibilities:
Meet with families to make funeral arrangements. Perform removals and transport deceased. Participate in a predictable on-call schedule. Embalm and prepare the deceased for visitation, burial, cremation, etc. Staff visitations, funerals, burials, etc. Answer office phones. Print materials. Other duties as assigned and necessary to support business operations.
